hi readers!

this is gonna be a long post since i'll be off for a family holiday in Bali starting december 25th until january 2nd, 2010.

christmas is getting closer and closer, and i can already smell the merry atmosphere. nowadays, seeing christmas decorations here and there makes me really glad. no reason. christmas has always been my favorite season of the year :)

good day! my blog was awarded "the haute mess award" two times by two cool ladies; first, the beautiful pixie-esque novita ristiana and the second given by one of my coolest blogreader; diana-dye.

thank you, guys. seriously, that means a lot to me!

p.s. actually i don't understand what this award is about; haute means "high" in french. i know, as in "high life" or "high fashion", but high mess? quite funny indeed. yet interesting! ;)

now i have to list another 7 things about me:

1. i love mangoes so much. 

2. i used to be a massive RPGs (Role Playing Games) fan. my favorites including the famed final fantasy VII and final fantasy IX (remember this entry? click if you wanna see ♥). the latter was finished two times by me with all the secret items and ultimate weapons unlocked;)

3. before owning my current three doggies, i used to have 7 cats; all the children of mommy cat samantha.

4. my current celebrity crush is stephen moyer of true blood. i personally think he's such a hot guy with mysterious sides. anyone here with me? 

5. christmas is my favorite season of the year.

6. i've fulfilled 10 of 12 last year's new year resolution.

7. i love visiting vintage clothing stores or small clothing stores to get unique shoes and boots. the best thing about buying in those places are that there will probably be no other people owning similar items as mine. teehee ♥

8. i love drawing since i was 4 years old.

9. just like any other women out there, i love sale seasons. *who doesn't dig that anyway? ;)*

10. i'm currently crushing on a guy 11 years older than me. i know, he's really matured and such (not to mention that God-loving personality and natural talent in singing), but i do wish myself luck for this.

my last photography session for 2009. 

even until today, i still cannot believe that 2009 is coming to an end. now that 2010 is closing in, it's high time for me to make my new year resolutions; of course, the topmost of all is to be a whole better person than i am in this year. have you readers make your own resolutions too? :)

i'd also like to thank all readers and followers for all the supports. i could never make it this far without you guys.

now i'm supposed to list 7 facts about myself;

1. people think i love doing illustrations so much but the fact is that my relationship with the talent-slash-hobby is kinda love/hate. teehee. 

2. i used to hate everything about fashion until 3rd grade of junior high. i couldn't even differ the notion 'clutch bag' to 'hand bag'-no kidding! 

3. for my future fashion line, my first fashion show soundtrack would be tobyMac's "feeling so fly", while the spring/summer collections will be aided by either weezer's "island in the sun" or the juliana theory's "we're at the top of the world". wish me luck! ♥

4. i have three dogs at home. my favorite is the golden retriever named axel, which was named after a character in kingdom hearts 2 of the same name.

5. when i fall in love, i tend to love rainy seasons more than sunny days. when it rains, i love sitting near a big window listening to some piano instrumentals. sweet. 

6. i love japanese food, minus those uncooked ones like sashimi ;) my favorite sushis are california roll, aburi salmon roll, and tobiko (ones that topped with salmon eggs), while my all-time favorite is the gindara teriyaki. 

7. i've never been a fan of the twilight saga, i only watched the movie because i'm a big fan of kristen stewart ;) it is just overly romantic for me; and edward "the sparkling vampire" cullen? no. kellan lutz and cam gigandet are definitely hotter! ♥

among many of his utterly gorgeous pictures i found while cruising google for his images days ago, this one i illustrated was very eye-catching. there is something so natural about his smile here.

i'm with christopher bailey on this one; she's a beauty with attitude.

she's all grown-up, yes? it feels like just yesterday i saw a chubby-faced hermione granger with unruly curly hair. i don't miss that hermione, though.

in the october 2009 issue of teen vogue she stated that she wanted to go for college. i really wish her good luck. great to see that there will be another smart woman in hollywood. natalie portman had done a good job. see what emma will come up with, shall we? :)

not so long time ago, my favorite blogger pandora did photoshots based on the lucifer rising movie (directed by kenneth anger, 1972).

this somehow triggered me to do costume interpretation of archangel gabriel.

ah, talking about angels; they are such enchanting creatures to be interpreted, yes? i just wonder how will s/he looks if s/he is being sent to earth in the form of a human being. 

my interpretation of the style is "simplicity with goth edges". in my case, basic oversized white tee paired with tough-chic staples such as leather gauntlets and cage heels.
